I have this DroidBase

The problem is how to measure the distanse the bot have drived and
how to evaluate error while driving stright ?

yep man.
this is good for wheeled robots.

but i dont have such wheels...

One quick solution , attach a dummy wheel for odometry :D

u can try opto too...
but if u r using steppers... as the drive motors...
u may do away without the need of such stuffs if ur motor is not missing any steps...
