hey frnds,
i just found on net some rf transmitter n reciever ics from www.micrel.com
ie micrf001 - rf reciever/data modulator
micrf102- rf transmitter ic
plaese help me as in whether they can be used in remote controlled robot
with reference to

cost
availability
interfacing with muc

also tell if there are any other good ics available

I looked thru the site
which IC are u going for?
You can communicate with the modules serially

chirag, i checked the datasheer f this chip micrf506
yup u ca use it.But it does have alot of external components.

i got the BIM2-433-160 chip..which means it eorks on a 433Mhz freq
Radiometrix has application sheets.
hope this helps.
If ur in an engineering college ,ask for a discount.They gave me one.

nope not available in lamington...
i got it ordered from Mauritius....
The whole deal was 66$[20$ for each transreceiver+26$postage]

micrel ic's are available with hynetics, bangalore

www.hynetics.com

ic's are Rs.100/150 each for Tx/Rx resp.
