I am making a micromouse based on stepper motors. I tried many stepper motors for it. Say from floppy drives, printers and others from some shops and junk too. But all they seemed to be very less in torque. I have a motor which is small in size and gives good toqure too,but cant find the same any where. Can somebody suggest me where to get motors like this for micromouse?

For micromouse you can get stepper motors from many sources. I found some websites who are selling motors specifically for micromouse.

1. Tri India Roboshop
www.triindia.co.in

2. Robokits.org

tri motors seems like floppy drive motors, for high torque motors you can use robokits steppers which are having high torque. I'm using the same motors for my micromouse. Tri motors are not tested yet by me.

how about a thumb size DC motor with inline reduction gears foe 60 rpm?
