Hi Bhargav,
I have got it a month before. I have designed PCB in Protel and now getting it made in our PCB Lab. I will be receiving PCB on 24th Nov. I will then solder components and test the programmer. The major limitaion about it is that you can't program more than 256 bytes from the software provided on the web. You can search and get a cracked old version of prog-studio software to make it full functional. I already got it and downloaded from web.

bye
Sunil

Hi,
What don’t you try out this one, http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/mcu/010/index.html
Software is freeware, so no need to crack it anymore! You can also program 20 pins 8051, like at89c1051, c2051 of it. But software won’t run on XP/NT :(

I did not check out the program . But if you are telling of it not working over 2k/xp due to direct h/w access in the system disabled . I think i heard somewhere that drivers exist to overcome this limitation . Search the net for more detail :)

BTW have u considered ISP interface :?:

Software will work on win98. Yes here is the software which unlock the parallel port if you are using xp/nt http://www.embeddedtronics.com/public/Electronics/minidaq/userport/UserPort.zip
But problem is something different here, it give you error even after using this utility!

Oh yes I have considered isp interface, now I think this one is far better than a programmer.
