i am planning to use a l293D IC for controlling a motor.I first came across it Gerry's site(machinegrid) and found it pretty simple and i thought i could escape from learning that H-bridge and making my own one. But just now i came across Vikas' thread abt the shoppping cart and he mentioned that l293d is tough to find.NOw i want to know whether we get l293d IC in India??If so how much do they cost????THanks in advance for u all(as i ask sooo many questions!!99% of my posts are questions!please dont mind)

L293 is available in Kharagpur for Rs 95, probably would be cheaper in Metros 'coz the shopkeaper brings his stuff from calcutta and after travel & profit sells for Rs 95 !!!
