hi,
i am building this project where i require inductors. does anyone know where in mumbai can i purchase inductors, either in smd form or through hole?? i checked 2 or 3 places at lamington road but cud not find. or is there anyway i can get one made or something???

at present i require a 22uh inductor with atleast 1 amp capacity. basically i need them for building rf tx and rx modules.

have u checked all the stores posted by members ?
i don't know abt mumbai,but here in Hyderabad,they r available easily.

If you need a few pieces of the inductor, you can also make your own. You should easily get ferrite cores from these shops. They will not be more than Rs. 10 even if you buy just one. A transformer winding wire of about 20AWG should be able carry more than 1A and can easily be wound by hand (but do check the current rating of 22. The net is full of ways to make such inductors even if you don't have a LCR meter.

no havent checked at cirkit... will do so... i checked their site... they seem to hav them in their stock list lets hope... i will see if i can make one... tho is 20swg available in market??
