Try to make and do something which proves that you are engineer .

how bout a path finder type

you know, a bot to find his way through a maze

you can make a contest out of it - let a small animal like a rat or hamster run thorugh the same maze

it'll give you amazing bragging rights about how much smarter your bot is than a living organism

Nice idea !!!
But i dont think that it will be like a big project all you need are 2 left right IR sesors and soe kind of small path logic for solving mazes ( like trave along one side of wall till center ) . But still it will look cool ....

Path finders are very passe...

right IR sensor.. left IR sensor... same old logic...
but competition wise a lot can be learnt !

did you see the cockroach bot news??

It is pretty cool!.. best for such maze experiments...

all terrain .. fast.. self balancing.. as it has 6 legs
low on power...

It is thought be used as a space exploration bot

go 4 a biped robot whichwalks on its2 legs we are final year engineering students working on such aproject

thanks geves.. I made a quadruped for my final year project...

best of luck with your biped...

Hello guys!
Rao, the most difficult and rare robots are the ones under water.....
Its a real challenge, like the Micromouse. You also dont find much info nor projects anywhere!!
Go for an autonomous SUB.
Let me know if you need help.

well...robot in water sounds challenging ....one communicating with a terrestrial robot....hee he hee.....
or robots which can fly ...it'll be fun having flying robots...

wel it ll be nice if someone in the forum gives a small tutorial on flying bot.... one who has actually made one..
its always fascinating

hi guys i'm new here
i'm 3rd yr engg student
i'm interested in robots
how abt six legged spider like thing 4 all terrain

the bestr could b the one that can work for the owner i mean for the ultimate result, suppose a line follower is one which follows lines bt the best could b the one which can reach to the point irrespective of the lines wt about a bot whch plans for it self guru
