View Full Version : Problems in running PIC16F877A

I have a problem using PIC16F877A. When I am burning it on a burner then it is detected correctly & then burned successfully. But the voltages appearing at the pins given Logic 1 as output comes to around 0.3V. I have changed the Microcontroller & also the Crystal Oscillator.

I am using Winpic for burning & CCS for writing programs.

Can u suggest the possible solutions that I must look out for???

1. Are those pins initialised as outputs?
2. What's connected to the outputs? Maybe its draining too much current from the PIC. Does the PIC get hot?
