hi everybody

i am designing a robot system head/neck/arm

and i want to know if there is an easy cad software to use (i will use motor gear chain)

if there is any example to help i'll be pleased too

@mba7: Have you tried SolidWorks (clickie) (http://www.solidworks.com/)? Its pretty easy to use, and there are plenty of tutotials on the net.

Solidworks is bloody expensive!!!

Google SketchUp is free and the learning curve is very short. System-resources-wise, its not too demanding. And you'll get a lot of component designs on the net made by users and downloadable from the warehouse for free... gears, motors, drive trains, etc.

Google sketchup rocks...
its the easiesst CAD software ive seen so far.
