hi all,

I am looking for a DC motor with the following specs

rpm around 4000
torque around 40 mNm
voltage - 12V preferably

motor size -
length <= 100mm
diameter around 25 mm
weight is not a factor (obviously the lighter it is the better)
cost - Obviously the lesser it is the better

quantity - we need 5

I am posting the entire list of specs so as to be as specific as possible regarding my requirements - but anything close to the rpm and torque values is ok

Links to online stores or contact no.s of people willing to mail such motors would be greatly appreciated...

Regards
Alva

thanks for the link - :)
I looked around the site and found that those guys are selling the (25000 RPM) base motor without the gearbox as well.
I guess I can use that by adding a gear box to the motor with something like 1:7 reduction

However this would the first time I'll be working an external gearbox
(generally I use those plastic external gears or I buy geared motors) :?
any fundaes regarding the use of gearboxes (coupling mechanism - size of the gearbox - what to look out for while buying them etc)
would be really appreciated
