View Full Version : What would be the program for 4 wheel robot ?

I am a bigner, build a 4 wheel robot like a car which would be controled by a remote control which is wired.
I would like to know that what would be the logic of the movements
and how will I achive the controling of the robot using remote control?
also I would like to know that which signal remote control will give?

Please Help me out !!!!!!!!!!!!!

use differential drive.... you can find a lot about it on google.
logic is simply based on LUT(look up table). see what code is generated when any key is pressed and then convert it into code needed to perform the desired task.

eg. suppose when you press UP(Forward) key 0010 is generated and in order to move the car forward it should be given 1001. similarly check other conditions also. make a truth table and then deduce the function of output four bits based on input four bits. minimize it and implement it.

this can be done by using logic gates. if you have plans to increase the complexity of your project later on, then go for uC.
