hey guys just visit http://www.fischl.de/usbasp/ this is a USB programmer for AVR microcontroller. The code for the atmega8 is also given with the downloaded file. One can modify the ISP.C file for changing the programming commands from avr to AT89s51/52. Infact this is what me and my friend are currently trying to do. Any one interested in helping us out............It can be a nice project which if complete I would like to dedicate to all RI users what say guys?

Any suggestions are welcome

AT89S51 & AT89C51 both are compatible with the industry-standard MSC-51 Instruction set & pinout

Hi avnish,
I had seen ur programmer but ur page doesn't mention the price........secondly i believe u wont be interested in sharing the software and the hardware(as the economics wont allow that i guess u are running full time business)................) thats why I want a similar project on my own......any ways if ur prgrammer is cheap around 250-300Rs I guess it will be very popular and will sell in good number........best of luck!!!!!

other can use asif karims at89s52 parallel port programmer with a buffer chip........I have personally use this for 3-4 yrs....

I will give the Software for free but as it is of no use without the hardware its does not really help.

I would have given the h/w also but making it will not be easy for many people. So you can buy it assembled and tested at a price little more than that of making it your self.

I has be launched recently and prices will be available soon.

Hi Avnish,
Thanks for giving the offer....anyways I guess things(even software) shouldn't always be given free as they too reqyuire a lot of time to develop.........

It would really be nice if you could put this programmer for sale quickly if it suits my budget I will definitely buy it......
