Hello frnds I would like to know that how would I connect my IC pins to the computer so that It can be programmed........




Please Help me out

Plug in the header as shown. As always, if you aren't sure, check the schematic. The arrow side should be closest to the ATmega8 IC.

To finish the connection, plug in the other end of the programmer into a serial port of your computer. If your PC does not have a serial port (such as my Dell laptop), you will need to buy a serial-to-USB adaptor cable (~$15, left cable in picture). Optionally, you may also want to buy a serial extension cable (~$5, right cable



What to do after this I have stucked her...............Pleasse Help me out

But Note these won't work with USB-Serial Adaptors !!!

I have tested and BAFO(Common USB/Serial Adapter found in India) but failed. This fact is also stated in many places in Internet.

This is because these programer work with technique called BitBanging but due to USB latency it is not possible.
