last month i bought some pairs of Vishay IR sensor pair to make my own fast speed line following array of 8 transmitter and reciever pair.
i referred circuits on net and found that 1 LM324 can control 4 recievers and so i gave required connections( ir reciever works in reverse bias right??)
but the sensors didn't respond
i used 2 lm324 and 1 10k potentiometer to calibrate senors.
the basic idea was taken from :
http://www.ikalogic.com/tut_line_sens_algo.php
and
http://www.ikalogic.com/proj_mini_line_folower.php
i desperately need advice on how to rectify these problems.
i have done all tests for my pcb(continuity test ) and the transmitters are too glowing bright . Are the schematics wrong or the pot value or what??
there are no loose connections
if any one has any other line following sensor array circuit diagram please post.

I guess it could be a case of too many light sources near your receiver. Try to check voltages of opamp while completely shielding the receiver and then with the ir leds.
