i have some dc gear motors of 25000 base motor rpm. the problem is that 2 of them have been damaged (dont knw why???) ie when i give them 12 V they donot respond.
please sugges me a way by which i could confidentely repair these motors.
( i can't open the motors till i can prove i have a fine way of repairing them)

i think there are various different probabilities to cause the motor problem:

may be you have already burnt them then there is nothing that can be done.

1.may be you are not giving enough current to start the motors.(may be you are using 12V power supply but nowith lower current rating than your motors require) Try using lead acid batteries to start your motors as they need more starting torque if they are of higher RPM. They will work fine i think. :D
