@kasana_kasana: You could use the Java Nano VM (clickie) (http://www.harbaum.org/till/nanovm/index.shtml), which is available pre-compiled for the AVR microcontrollers here (clickie) (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=181239&package_id=209853). The popular ASURO Robot (clickie) (http://www.dlr.de/rm/en/desktopdefault.aspx/tabid-3848/) also uses it. And since it uses the standard java byte code, you can use the standard javac to compile for it. It also contains native support for many peripherals (I/O, LCD, Sensors etc.)

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Debu :)
