Whatever you do, beware of self-styled overnite experts and fly-by-night operators looking for your money and naivity....

hey.. from my point of view,,,, its ok if u pay anyone who fulfils ur needs . simply think about the time and effort a newbie wud waste when he goes to gala .. and servo .. who themselves wud charge double for a fresher... think ..think like an experienced person... ask any one in B.E he wud recomend not to waste time .. any how .. everyone spends in experimenting... then why waste it to gala..or someone who simply gives spare parts.. but not the robot.. and instead even a self acclaimed champ.. wud deliver a working model... BUT its responsiblity of freshers shud GET IT DONE IN WORKING... neglect this opinion if u r not convinced... its just what i faced ... after wasting lots in ... SELF-TRY.... cos thers is science BUT ppl do it only for a certi..
also the best way to do it from scratch is to open china toys.. learn mechanics from.. FE books.. all techfest robots can be made using only our very own FE mech.. TEXT BOOK.. then spend time ,,i use oly .. use.. Al chasis.. collect motors.... go expt frnd..
