WAVES,a National Level Technical Symposium organized by Society of Electrical and Electronics Engineers(SEEE), College of Engineering Guindy,Anna University,chennai.This year WAVES is scheduled to be on March 21st to 23rd, 2011 .As with all the past 28 editions, this year too the array of events just got more diverse promising lots of action from across all spectrums as well as copious amounts of prize money.With events ranging from ”Robonoids” to “Contraption”, from “Papero Uno” to “Alcatraz”, and with a plethora of quizzes, puzzles and management events to add spice, Waves '11 promises to be a true multi-disciplinary concoction. The winner will be the one, who not just thinks, but enjoys as well. Tons of prizes are to be won, because, at the end of the day, knowledge pays!

Some of the robotics events that take place are

3 Phase soccer:

Soccer is a game which has managed to capture millions of hearts all over the world. Combine this with Robotics and you have an awesome spectacle to feast your eyes on!!You may have seen a game of soccer with two teams battling it out to reach the zenith, but here at WAVES’11 a slight improvisation in the rules we have three teams fighting it out for the top honours.

Pacman:

PACMAN-the name creates nostalgia instantaneously!!Who can forget the titlular character PACMAN and his ever popular enemies ''The Ghosts''??? Developed by NAMCO in the year 1980,it is a game that went on to become an icon of video game culture.Having played PACMAN,can you miss an opportunity to play it in real time using autobots???Here at WAVES,11 we give you an opportunity that is not even provided in the game!!You get to play as GHOST!!!.Dumbfounded??Baffled??Well pal,then its time for you to move on to the arena &event format !!!
