Just completed my first venture into AVR. An ATmega32L based board with the following specs:

1. Upto 2 DC motors (with shaft encoder input)
2. Upto 2 Stepper motors
3. Upto 8 Analog / Digital sensor inputs
4. ISP
5. Simplex 38Khz IR communication with the PC (Got to make it Duplex)

The design is very simple, but is a good platform for experimentation.

Found the following resources very helpful:
1. WinAVR (C compiler, Library) http://winavr.sourceforge.net/
2. AVRLib (Excellent C library compatible with WinAVR) http://hubbard.engr.scu.edu/embedded/avr/avrlib/
3. AVR Studio (IDE Simulator & other tools) http://www.atmel.com/dyn/products/tools_card.asp?tool_id=2725

Will post the circuit soon, although there is nothing much in it !

Hello,

I am having problem in programming the ATMega32L.
I tried to use uisp for loading the prog.
I found a circuit for "dapa" (programming through parallel port)
But it is just does not detect the chip.

Can somebody telll me what is the other method of programming it.

Does anybody know where can i buy (AVR - ISP) programmer in or around delhi.

I am confused about the layout and dont wanna spoil my time..
and specially the ATMega128 which i have is a SMD.. so dont wanna spoil that...

If any one can give me a layout i will be glad... (Softcopy will also work)

By the way i am going to use that for some software based related projects. Not for robos...

also i want a help..
anyone from bangalore can help me in SMD soldering?

Please i need this help urgently..
