i am using op-amp 741(8 pin)
which require -12v

how i can supply -12v

741 is a old thing. Now its better to use single, supply low voltage OpAmps. In modern design PD of 24 volts is rare. Detail your application requiremnet we can help.

i am on way of learning about op-amps

i had read it from my course book & even used op-amp 741 in college lab using kit ,& its works perfectly ,that kit has both -ve & + ve power supply.

i am trying to build simple things, like comparators ,adders ......etc

simplest way will be to use 2 9v batteries(PP3)
