This my first attempt to make a autonomous bot.
i have basic knowlege about circuit designing & microcontorller programing in assembly language & burning the program to microcontroller.

I am having following components with me:
1.four 200rpm 12v motors
2.two 45rpm motors
3.AT89S52 microcontroller.

You can make one by using LDRs and LEDs.I have made one.
I have attached the picture of the sensor i made.http://lh4.googleusercontent.com/_NNOU9earCnA/TckynkkofkI/AAAAAAAAALI/wiV2TaEmOf8/s640/GEDC0698.jpg

Since you already have the required components, dive straight into the robot building.

There are already numerous resources for building line following robots on the internet and on the RI forum. Search for yourself and you will find plenty of them and in the process find other related stuff that might interest you.
