Hi,
I was looking at the nex-robotics gear motors and i found two types of motor.
One is the normal Dc geared motor with center shaft and the other type is off centered shaft motor.
After comparing the specifications of both type of motors for same RPM value i found out that the specs are almost same. There are some quality difference but still why there is such a huge difference in cost ?
and what would be the best deal
6 Center shaft motor or 4 off centered shaft motor ?

the cost is in the make of the body, mostly.

Which one to use, depends on your robot spec. You will need a side shaft motor if you plan to use wheels of smaller diameter.

You get higher torque with the side shaft motors but the huge difference in price is for the huge difference in the build quality. I suggest you buy from vegarobokits(Not advertising the site :P). If you decide to go for the side shafts, you should know that the shafts do not come pre-drilled and they are made of tempered steel.
