@devdatta , no there are many types of side shaft motors ...

Anyhow these are basically Jonsons motors from here -

http://www.vegarobokit.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=35_39 (http://www.vegarobokit.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=35_40)

And like usual over priced and 35 KG/CM :) ... thats not true.

@vikas
The link you gave is for RS series motors and not johnson motors.

Actually i wanted to buy these johnson motors from vegarobokit but their site had some problems.They have only one payment option i.e. bank deposit but they have not given the bank account details to which i can transfer the amount.I contacted them around 10days ago and still no reply from them.
Thats the reason i was planning to buy those motors from robokits.

They are good. I have about 14 of them lying around. Only downside to them is their heavy power consumption. If you are making a battery powered bot, stay away from them. The new ones have a peculiar problem. If you are mounting them on a side shaft l clamp, be sure to drill out the screw holes, otherwise the gearbox gets ruined.

you can get very good high torque motors around 30 kg torque at frugal labs, Bangalore. Come to our site to buy.
