i am designing an all-terrain robot . with other components from group members (electrical,communication)..... it would weigh around 20 kg..... i was looking for an idea for locomotion.... either track-belt type or 6 wheel drive ...... which one would be better in all terrians , important part being sand and stair climbing .... height of stair being around 7 inch .... . in case of 6 wheel drive , "wild thumper" type suspension are good .... but in trackbelt type ..... i need ideas .....

The tracks always looks a great idea, but the implementation is difficult. We have few heavy duty motors and wheel assembly
