i think you are looking for BC447.

ask for BC447
or BC449

cheers!

Hi amey,

Where are you using this transistor? If used in a simple switching application, try to replace it with the one having comparable current rating.

Hi I am using it given by in following circuit.

As i am a beginner in robotics and electronics i dont know what to do
 So i am asking for help :P

Hi,

Although I've not read the datasheet of BC447, but BC547 should work out there without any problem. Let me know if it works...

Good luck

Hi

BC447 has voltage rating of 80V. and I was trying to ask where are you using this but then the php site had some problem.

anyways in the above circuit, BC548, will work well.
always keep a few bc547 / 548 and 2n2222 and 2n3904 in your component box for trial.

cheers!

amey: I'm trying to build the same programmer, did it work for you? And from the schematic I can't seem to make out how to set the switches for program/erase.
As with the transistor, BC447 isn't available here in Sweden but I'll try the BC548.
Thanks for any help!!
