HI everybody.
We were making a hexapod (programmed in 8052 assembly language),using Futaba motors. It is walking now.
We are working in openCV for last week but its only about finding out the object.Even DIP Gonzales & DIP using matlab by Gonzalez just solves half our purpose, finding out the object & differentiating it from rest of the similar different colour objects. We want to find out its exact position as well & than according to that input to a program, the hexapod & manipulator mounted on it will be moving in a 9m by 9m square to pick that up.
Can any1 help us out in position finding?
THANKS IN ANTICIPATION

The 8052 is just for controlling motors(giving PWM),as soon as we work in vision,we will be connecting hexapod to computer via serial port interfacing of PC with 8052.Later on,we can even put up a small motherboard on the robot.

we the team from dce would like to thank the robotics community who have been extremely helpful at times of need. the hexapod has started functioning as required and is performing upto expectations......now we have the additional task of programming it to take turns based on sensor inputs and also to incorporate a vision system in it. we would be uploading the videos very soon .most probably within a day or 2 . its not looking very beautiful at the moment .(being full of jugaadbazi in the circuit and wire area.....). that will be taken care of soon.
i received a very helpful advice from the robonunence guy..venkatesh that we were not giving the servos proper power supply..... this resulted in our quest for a high amperage power supply... and we finally got a 6.5 volts 4.5 ah battery and with a few tweakings of the uC program by taank we got it up and running.
THANKS ONCE AGAIN AND I HOPE THAT U ALL WILL CONTINUE TO HELP US.
