Hi All
Last week I found those hand games with Tetris and Road Fighter for just Rs.40...is it not a good idea to strip it off for a Graphic LCD...
Well my question is whether anyone hasdone it successfully...i mean are those LCD's based on a standard controller...and if so....has anyone interfaced it to some mucrocontroller...
Waiting for replies...
Regds...
I don't think its a easy job, because lcd controller and game are embedded on the same chip. Guys suggest to use Nokia 3310 graphical lcd instead.
yup Jack..3310 is the way to go....there are many sites explaining how to do it..esp with the PIC and the AVR..
it's has an 84*48 pixel screen

Hi ice,
Are these lcd modules sold seperately or you just have to rip them of form an old cell phone?

I think it should. I remember once one of my friend replaced the broken LCD of his 3310. If I get more details I'll post here.

I have been using 3310 and 6610(color) LCDs for sometime now with AVRs.
I buy them from gaffar for Rs.90 and 300 respectively.
They work like a charm.. have been using em for over 2 years now.
