Hi,

I have successfully integrated the motor circuit with the PC using parallel ports and L293D motor controller. Thanks to all of you.

But I observed one thing that the motor rotates faster in clock wise direction than anticlockwise direction. Is that some how the 5v input gets added up for clockwise rotation and gets deducted for anticlockwise ???

Regards,
Kiran

hi parasa,
check if u r using geared tape motors....
cause tape motors nevr has same rpm on backward and front rotation.

That's right..theres a small PCB at the back of the motor(if you remove the motor plate)..You may remove the pcb and hook your terminals directly to the L293d

Will get back after checking that :-).
