ya i also bought batteries from them 2 of them actually.1 was ni-mh batteries really small and the other lead acid which was pretty hefty one . ni-mh is lil costly but lead acid is pretty cheap but bigger n size.

regarding ROBONENCE they have sexy line of products like

base board (like basic stamp n oopic) with thier own language ,
motor controller boards,
servo motors,
r servo motors,
ultrasonic n ir sensors,
direction finder sensor,
rx-tx wireless modules,
ir wireless modules
basic robotic chasis to try out your robotic experiments(like arobot kit)

and the best of all and most difficult they provide solutions for facedetection, face recognition, motion detection, object and colour tracking.

in short they have all the products which we have been searching till now in india but cudnt find.ROBONENCE rocks maan.thier presentation was way too cool.

some products are a lil costly but most of them are not.regardinmg the cost they cover up for ity by giving excellent support.

jus feeling too lazy to call dem...
so if u know the quotations, jus lemme know..

01-06-2006, 11:20 AM
ya i contacted them for the servos

servos futaba ones with 3 kg torque would cost u around 1.4k but they give a lotta gearherds with it and they have geared motors too with higher torque for arnd 800rs

iagain i feel price is good for the support they give...

newayz how much was your budget for the servos?and for geared motors?

01-06-2006, 03:22 PM
i usually used to buy geared dc motors or around 700/-
those geared tape motors... gud torque, but ll give their motors a look also.
and servos, i haven used them yet, so no such budget in mind.....
thanks for the info.
