Hey evbody,
well i starting my Christmas wish list [on an imaginary note]

My first wish
THE VIA mini ITX: This is one cool babe
check out her specs here:
http://www.viaembedded.com/product/epia_ml_spec.jsp?motherboardId=301

Damn! I couldn't even stop thinking what i could do with this girl.
She's got USB 2.0s ,2 ide connectors,LAN,
and guess what she fits in a 17*17 cm space.
[ice's is literally drooling !!]
Mount this on ur robot and u have a 5.1 surround too.

i think my hearts at a 101bpm.

It costs around 9000 bucks. But i think its worth it,considering the fact there aren't any powersupply problems.
K ,this is the first on my wishlist .I'll be updating it and ur welcome too.

The config rocks ... DVD playpack chip now thats something cool :)

17x17 - Lets see when it comes out maybe i go in for building a robot out of it :) . A robot Mp3 player  which can follow me around and has 5.1 support .

Well for me this christmas i would want a powerfull GeForce 6800 Ultra .... And get a orignal Doom 3 free with a motherboard supporting PCI Express even if it not a robotic gadget .

Both have there own plus and minus like

Blutooth - Highly supported in smaller devices , Small range , low speed etc .

Wifi - Low support , Medium range etc

If you have a Wifi access point nearby and have someone with Wifi in the neabhour hood wifi is recommended

If you have mobile / laptom / digicam supporting blutooth then go for a blue tooth

Bluetooth has a range of 30 feet. I dont think thats worth the price.
What about WAP though? Any Comments from anyone.

By the way, how many of you Chennai guys know that our good old Central (Station and not Jail) has a WiFi hotspot up and running since 2001(not too sure about the date but 2 years old atleast)?
