I am planning to graduate from my lower microcontrollers to Intel ARM Series of processors. Anyone having worked , please give ur views. My development platform will be GNU\Linux. I want to go for RTAI on ARM. Also image processing with my webcam. I was motivated for a long time to make this move since i saw the very first posting of mrinal robots (http://mrinal.net).

Any other powerfull platform for RTAI ( Or RTLinux ) for image processing etc...

This is more for sake of learing ARM and to implement my neurofuzzy algorithms. Anyone done anyhting similar, neurofuzzy, image reconstruction etc . Please send in ur posts

Hey Nirvana , do you know !!!! The person whose website you mentioned mrinal.net ,is my senior.

He has really deeeeeep knowledge in Linux , probably among the best in whole Bangalore. Currently I have the robots made by him in my house, those are awesome robos with wireless LAN and all Hi-Fi stuffs.

Your post just made me excited , so I wrote few sentences praising him.

Well Best of Luck with ARM !!!!

It was a gr8 team work as far as i know. JD ( Jnashewar Das), Mrinal, Sharad and Avinash was a wholesome lot. All xperts in their domain. It is a must visit site for all young roboteers (http://roboteers.com).

It is what u can produce with a real good team.

Anyway , i am at present at blore will be here till this month end. Anyone really intersted in this project may keep posting. I am awaiting motivitated roboteers. As i said , i prefer GNU/Linux/RTAI/ARM kind of platform. Anyone , with motivation can join. Ur knowledge doesnt matter much bcoz it is hardwork and motivation that matters.
