can any one suggest me an circuit diagram or schematic or board diagram for an programmer for atmega8535 that is widely supported by ponyprog. I even went to lancos.com and developed the programmer on breadboard but the device i.e. atmega8535 is not detected. :?:

just search the net for BSD programmer and you will get a link which has a programmer (ISP) which requires you to have just 5 1K resistors and nothing more !!!!!

You can program you Mega8535 using this programmer along with AVRdude software .

Make the circuit on a General Purpose PCB. Solder the parts properly. It often hapeens that some pins dont make proper contact with the breadboard tracks.
