We are looking for an infrared transmitter-detector pair.

The infrared emitters should be able to emit signal of same strength all the time. The detector should be able to detect it at about 2 m and distinguish it from sunlight. If u have any idea of such a sensor pair please let us know.

Google for 38Khx tsop1738.
You will find enough circuits.

The transmitter will have to be made separately, modulated(which means a carrier frequency of 38Khz here) at 38Khz.

If you search the forum, you will find circuits and a write up too.

u can get the circuit in the datasheet.
