1. Black 'n' White:Automated Robotics Event.
Poses a challenge at your robot to follow the both Black and White lines.
Task is to make a completely autonomous line following robot that can follow both white line (on black background) 'AND' a black line (on white background).
Date : 9th March
Reporting time : 10:00 am
2. Cross Country Race: Manual Robotics Event.
To make a manually controlled amphibian robot capable of traversing both land and water.
Date : 7th March
Reporting time : 10:00 am
3.Tower of Hanoi :Manual Robotics Event.
The task of the robot(s) is to assemble discs of various pre-specified colors and dimensions and arrange them in various stands.
Date : 8th March
Reporting time : 10:00 am
Total Prize Money (Robotics) :Rs 35,000/-

| Your Techfest on Front Page |

 I recieve emails from a lot of colleges asking to put up their Techfest News on our Front page. So I decided to put up this announcement to help everyone and myself and save us all from the unnecessary 3-4 emails.
In order to put your Techfest news on the front page, we need two things to be done from your side.
1. Post us a short description of your techfest which should contain, Name of Techfest, Venue, Dates, Events related to Robotics, Short description of each event, Total Prize money for robotics events, Name of coordinators, contact ids and Finally the Link to the Techfest homepage.
2. You need to have a link back to RoboticsIndia on your Techfest's robotics page.
Once you get all that done, send me an email at shant_p[at]yahoo.com and I will upload your news on the front page.
Easy, aint it??

Time and time again the users have been reminded and reminded again by mods, senior users and other members of the community as well of the general nuisance caused by multiple posts on the forums.
Plainly speaking, we are sick and tired of this blatant disregard for forum rules and policies. So,
Effective 14, Feb, 2008 ALL multiple posts shall be removed without warning and the user will be flagged. If the same user does this a second time, we will make sure that the user is banned from the forums. No explanations, no warnings.
