    Default TSOP Line Follower

    Hi, i wanna use TSOP as a reciever for a white line follower , i know it needs 38Khz or so to operatate but i dont know where to change to adjust for white calibration ??

    why u need to calibrate tsop????
    if its tsop1738... it ll receive 38khz i r...
    the output ll become logic 0 wen it receives ir..
    tats it.. simple to use..

    It wont work with White...so no calibration!

    I dont think a TSOP will work for line following, its far too sensitive. Even if it does isnt a TSOP a bit of an overkill for following a line?

    Yup!
    Had to hide the TSOPs inside 20 bucks worth of MSEAL, with a pinhole aperture. to make it usable for LFR.

    Funny: my first LFR was made using a top opened BC109C as a light detector...ideal sensitivity for LFRs!!!

    ya..
    its very sensitive..
    so shielding ll be a problem..
    better go for normal tx and rx pair...
    tats d best for line folower
    if u thought u r the only mad person on the planet.......u got serious competition here

    Yes I agree with everyone out there , why to overprice yourself and overstrain yourself too by using TSOP when your work can be done using just a pair of led n diode.

    Hai Ahmed...

    Use a phototransistor ir led pair, and use a comparator to interface with the micro. Its working fine for me.

    TSOP is a bit troublesome, u need good alignment.
    use a bright led -LDR pair instead it works fine.[/b]

    TSOP ?? , why u gettin in all that fuss ,,, just get the normal IR led and sensor , just hide the Led and sensor in a small cylinder , too protect it from other light sources ..
