    i build a programmer multichip programmer http://www.talkingelectronics.com/Fr...ipPgmr-P2.html and software is icprog15d.zip but when i start to burn any file first error msg is id word is missing then verify failed at 0000 address help me to program pic16f84a and give me instruction to program a pic i use this project http://www.interq.or.jp/japan/se-inoue/e_pic6_1.htm help i m begginer for pics

    Lots of things can go wrong with this programmer...
    1. What OS are you using? Try it with Win98 and a serial port.
    2. Check voltages at MCLR during programming, should be ~13V.
    3. I also doubt if it supports 16F84A (although it does support 16F84).
    4. Try using it with WinPIC800.

    Are you using
    1. WinXP
    2. Windows API?
    If so the programmer wont work.
    The ID error and the Verify failure is because the program is unable to 'read' the chip.

    To solve:
    - Use directio drivers
    - Re-configure the IC-prog and unselect winAPI
    - Use more delay.

    You should really go through the IC-Prog documentation and the configuration. Thats a good Programming software!!

    yes i use xp and i use totalio drivers .i use direct io but problemaresame ufff what i do pls help me
