    wich IR sensor having a gud range shud i use for a line follower based on 8951 µC.....plz help !!!

    Default range for ir sensors ..

    my sensors wud b abt 6-7 cms frm d black line ....wud a til 38 n til 81 pair giv a gud range ...suggest other ir sensors giving a gud range !!

    U can try out IS471
    or u can go for sharp proximity sensor kits. they are really good.
    U can get even a range of 24 cm also.

    now... as far as i ve experienced making line followers....
    the lesser the range is,.... the better it is...
    i don know why you guys are looking for such high range for line following...
    can yu write why????
    if u thought u r the only mad person on the planet.......u got serious competition here
