    Default their is a difference

    hi shashak
There is a major difference between C and embedded C. C is used for making computer programs but embedded C is to program microcontrollers.

    lol

    i dont think so,
both are same, first of all digital system weather it is microcontroller or any processor based circuit (PC also a processor based circuit) are more or less same just they vary on the resources they have.
Any OS is an embedded application which control your every applications, if you say computer C is different then it what sense it different it is same as any version of C just they don't support variety of things because there target microcontroller do not support them in generic way. But they can made to do them providing the correct resource.
C compiler are just different on level of target controllers they support.
Ok take your perception into consideration for a min., you say there is C and another embedded C. I dont know which microcontroller you had used, i assume u had used 8051 derivatives and you code to blink a led in embedded C then its machine code should also work with AVR or PIC as AVR and PIC are also embedded system and is programed in 'embedded C', but it will not work because first compiler dont support those micro. (i assume you had use SDCC) and another not so trivial the key words are not same, i.e. PINA is an AVR keyword for pin input register but not for PIC or 8051, but keyword PINA can be used for PORT 1 of PIC just by doing address defining .
