Where to buy ready-made nylon / plastic Gears?

Does anyone know where to buy plastic / nylon gears for a customized gearbox for robotics application. I dont want to invest in moulds neither I want to use wire cut gears.

Any city shop / company will do..

1. You can try Servo electronics or Bombay motors in Mumbai (Grant Road). There is one more exactly in front of Servo electronics.

2. There is one more shop i don't know the address but it is located in Karve road-- pune

3. You can purchase small gearboxes directly from RS components india lmtd.

And RS is out of question. 1 gear cost Rs. 1500 at RS Components.....

Which deals in timing belt, timing pullies, and gears but right now my frnd also don't know the address, but if it is possible for you to have a walk in that area then you can, else you can wait until i post the address

This is expensive deal.

One gear cost Rs. 100 minimum.

If thats the case then u'll need to scavenge parts from old stuff. u'll find plenty of this stuff at Lohar Chawl and Chor Bazar here in mumbai. But this will require lot of 'field research'

see Nivedita it totally depends upon qty. required by you. if you want cheaper one then you can directly adopt the one which is available in Toys, clocks for less qty and modify your job as per that.

else in mumbai lamington road there is one shop which may be littlebit cheaper.

BUT if you post exactly for what you need this gears then we can help you in better way
