RS is big brand they supply industrial components. But I did not faced any problem in buying from them...they provide good support on their toll free no.

Atmega8 for Rs 95 (Lowest because RI Store has not launched yet)

    http://nortonkit.co.in/store/electro...hip/cat_8.html

The website is crap for shopping but they provide good phone support. The shipping charges are lowest. I always buy Atmega8 from them.

whats the purpose of the board?
If you all looking for a board just to make some bots like line followers, obstacle/edge avoiders(that's my guess most beginners want) then go for a board specific to robotics like these...
    http://store.extremeelectronics.co.in/xBoard-v2.0.html

    http://thinklabs.in/shop/product_inf...products_id=78

But if you are looking for a general purpose board( for some project other than robotics) then go for this..

I m suggesting this because this most cost effective, you need to solder a female berg connector to a separately bought LCD and complete board is ready for around Rs. 800.
