    Your question is kinda wierd...

Its getting late, so you should go to bed. After all, you gotta go to the 6th grade in the morning.

I dissected one of those 1-2 $ chinese handheld video - games ... what D' they use in 'em ?
You tell us. You are the expert since you "know quite a lot on circuits".

What are the square things underneath the black plastic-like-thing..?
Amazing description! This is way beyond me, but I'll give it a shot... Those square things are beings from outer space, that are caught by the Chinese in huge nets while they zip across the inter-galactic outer space at warp speeds. They are then glued inside the black plastic-like-thing and are cursed to a lifetime (which like all Chinese made stuff, is pretty small) of making those video games run as per the gamer's button presses. Didn't you always wonder how those blocks in Tetris seem to fall down the screen? Well, this is how it happens.

Word of caution - Don't open the black plastic-like-thing for too long or the square things will zoom back into outer space and the block games will have their already short life shortened further.

There are 2 things that we can do:
    Lead them by the hand
    or Leave them alone.

    But, which is better??
