    But I don't think the forum remains engaged only due to newbies. Usually when a person keeps a silent watch, he would be able to learn more.

    The point being put out here is that if a separate attention is being provided to newbies, the regular people can help themselves.

    Wish I was right.

    @Yamanoorsai

    I totally understand your point and wish that would be the case.

    But dont you think that most newbie topics that are currently on the forums have been answered already (many times) in the past.

    Newbies dont have the right to just post a question randomly thinking they are the first to think up or face that problem demanding a solution for that.

    Just like Docel said.. attitude.. I have come across cases who when denied direct solutions try to show they are tough.

    Just takes the fun out of helping people..

    I agree with you that newbies have a wrong opinion at the moment they step into the forum.
    The New guys may or may not have their own net or computers.
    They may be new to computers on the whole.
    They may not have time to browse through the tons of posts and forums.
    They may not have the knowledge of the Forums.
    Take a look @ docels post.

    This may be one of the reason for their ignorance towards reading the announcements over the forum. As discussed already, some problems are difficult to be avoided.

    I am not aware, how far restriction would work.
