    ^^^ I FEEL LIKE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO RUN FOR THEIR POINT JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE GROWN USED TO IT.. dont underestimate capability on atmega a cheap and powerful microprocessor...

    c,mon man we arent talking about love down here regarding x51 family. anyone knows a simpler language that arduino (atmega8/168/328) based board will do upon? i doubt.. CAUSE PEOPLE LIKE YOU JUST DONT WANT ATMEGA TO GET A CHANCE.
    as per the availability is concerned i have made 2 home made arduino sets both based on transistors..BOTH UNDER 500 buck i.e 250 per set.working like a charm.. man heck of a job.. but seriously i could do ONLY that only before 20 days of 12th boards

    'C' is functional with atmega on arduino platform
    I think all the Arduino supplied libraries are written in C++ and any sketch using these libraries is using C++ constructs.

    Vikas, sorry to say but I see no implementation yet !

    I made some thing similar. Sold many units successfully, learned a LOT from the experince and Improved my xBoard.

    and Now version 2.0 is out for sale !

    Soon I will be posting many robotics based project on my site based on xBoard2 (Actually I don't make any promise because I have a habit of telling others only when a Project is fully completed)

    Hope your ARP will be comming soon. Best of Luck !

    Well i never posted them online , I do have a stack able arduino robot kits with me. Also since my professional domain is something else , i do not get much time.

    Also my plan was to make something better and awesome, not just another board / product out there.

    Dont worry rao and me are working on something ...

    ... just pray we guys dont do something crazy !!!

    @akshay : Yes I am in India, too bad I missed you at the JIIT race, I was there for their water event. Hope to catch you at DCE.

    @avinash : One thing that we did a bit early was making promises. But then we realized that much was to be done with Ri before moving any further. Also with issues like Vikas's Job, and the fact that I was not in India delayed the plans a lot. But we are working on it. The plan is to make robotics affordable. Not an easy task because obviously components are not getting any cheaper. By the way, congratulations on Xboard2.

    @godslayer : Yes
