    Hi guys
    has anyone of u made a remote control using DTMF......actually i m making it rite now and the problem I m facing is that i m gettin a constant output of 1101(Q1-Q4) on pins 11-14 of my DTMF decoder datz KT3170.....wat can be the possible of this i dunno........also guys can u pls tell me wat kindof output shd i get on the tone o/p pin i.e. pin 7 of my DTMF encoder datz 91214B.......pls help me out......send me ur circuit if it's working @ ashishagarwal28@gmail.com........

    Well i dont like DTMF much ( If your talking abt sending data using it ) I have some not so good exp with it :evil: any way pulkit has done some real nice work

    There was a good circuit of DTMF Remote Controller published in EFY a time ago, i think 2 years back. Search it in EFY website

    hi pal try using cd8870 dtmf decoder instead of kt31.. i too had tried using dtmf for remote controls 4yrs back but the probs i faced was that the out put of the decoder retains(latched) the previous value once the remote signal ends transmission which means ur bot will continue to move foward if u pressed the foward button and released it.
