    Default help in line follower nd obstacle detector design

    i want to make an autonomous bot which follows a line nd also avoids obstacles in its path . i want to do it using microcontrollers (atmega 16) . i know c++ programming ( 11 & 12 optional subject) . pl could u tell me how to do it ... i will be really obliged by your help...also required are speed to the line follower

    dude search the net first........ i dont think u could find more information on any robotic topic than line follower on internet.......... read and choose what u think is right for u.....

    some hints to read are: dc geared motors, sesors for line detection, sesors for obstacle detection.

    autonomous bot which follows a line nd also avoids obstacles in its
    which type of obstacle? if its a simple ramp with line over it or a discontinuty in line u do not need separate sensor, but if there is somethin placed over the line , say a wooden block then u have to think how the bot will again come back to the line..... its a tricky situation......... decide the nature of obstacles first........
