    Default bipolar stepper motor with parallel port

    i'm using a bipolar stepper motor(six wires)with stepper driver(AMS-243 ark motion).i'm trying to interface through parallel port so as to generate pulses to control it's angle of rotation.
    plz help me! :roll:

    Six wires steppers generally are unipolar motors.

    hey man when u r not sure don't say it like that (bipolar stepper motor may have 4,6 ,or 8 wires). :?:

    1. The man says "generally". That means there 'could be' some oddball steppers with more than 4 wires.
    There are constraints, however:
