    @keval: Welcome to Robotics India.

    Since you are new to micro controllers, I'll give you a little free advice. The Datasheet is your best friend, embrace it. You don't have to mug up everything, you only need to read up on the feature that you plan to use.

    Google is also your friend. If there are any doubts, use it.

    As for a suggestion on how to begin working with the AVR's, The Novices Guide (clickie) is how I started. You should also have a copy of the AVR's Instruction Set (clickie), and refer to the Application Notes Page (clickie) often, mostly everything that you want to do has probably already been done.

    Hope this Helps,

    Regards,

    Hello Keval,

    You can try out my AVR tutorial Series here at

    http://extremeelectronics.co.in/category/avr-tutorials/

    They will get you started with ease. Once you grab the concept and have some experience they you won't fear from data sheets. And believe me the DataSheets do seems very difficult in the beginning but once you have some experience you will love them. The Atmels datasheets are very well written but they are not best place for complete startup they are ment for experienced engineers.

    So my tutorials can get u started and then you will use datasheets more effectively.

    Have Fun !!!
