Hello All,
Is there anyone here who might be willing, and able, to make me the basic circuitry to drive a 3-axis CNC-mill project?
Ideally, someone in Delhi.

i can both electronics-mechanical-control system
I am reactive.
Thank you Firoz.
This is just a bit late, as I have been diverted to some other work for now.
But, I'd like to know more about what you can do for us along these lines,.. ideally by direct email to shankarb.geo [at] yahoo [dot] com

I need a stepper motor control board that can drive 4 stepper motors. Basically I want to build a Hotwire CNC foam cutter that can cut out desired shapes out of foam(mostly foam wings for RC planes) something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2VUmrpN1lk . Doesn't need to be advanced, a simple basic machine will do. And also need a compatible easy-to-use software with it. So, if someone knows of any shop in India that already sell these, then please let me know, If someone is willing to make it then please quote your price. I can build the XY positioning tables myself, just the motor driver. If however someone is willing to fabricate the entire system, then do let me know too. Price is the limiting factor here so as I have said before, it doesn't need to be very advanced.
After some more research I found two websites on the net that sell stepper motor controller boards http://www.sunrom.com/motor-control?...990d903c652bfa and http://www.robotshop.com/phidgetstep...4-motor-1.html . The former is an Indian outlet the latter is US based. So, I request experienced forum members here to please help me out in finding a suitable controller for me, I don't know a lot of Robotics sites, just the two above, so please help me out here if you know of any other site that will suffice my requirement or whether the products on the site that I have listed will work?. As usual price is the limiting factor here.
You can use two of these:

Also check out vegarobokit. They have reasonably priced products.
Sorry for the late reply. Thank You so much lastrites. Can you please tell me which CNC software is compatible with this(the one in the link that you've given) stepper motor controller. Actually I don't have any knowledge on coding and all that stuff so it would really help if you could pinpoint some exact softwares that will work with the stepper motor controller.
if you are intrested in ready made ones then check this out

Thanks Sudarshan. But I guess, I'll build one myself cause it will turn out to be cheaper, Moreover, if I order it online then there will be a problem with the shipping and all. Just want to know what CNC software is compatible with the Stepper Motor controller listed in the reply above.
hi rohitgupta322
the first board you mentioned (sunrom) may be used but it will work only if you have the below stuff
Pc/ laptop --> usb or serial (to transmit) --> microcontroller (to decode the file and control the board) --> board --> motor.
the difficult part may be decoding in the microcontroller and calibration.
the same is applicable for the second board also. but it will wont need a microcontoller but you need to write your own computer program to decode the file . decode generally refers to converting the drawing to coordinates (x,y,z) 3 steppers.
if you dont have a good programming skills both boards wont do the job.
you can refer the below links for any usefull ideas as all of them are complete working stuffs and some opensource also.
or you can buy the products mentioned above. and you wont face any problem with shipping . they also have live chat with sellers and you can clarify with them. most of the products you buy in india or any where comes only from china. and aliexpress.com is a one site you can completely trust.
you can check the below link it has some tutorials. also they have many tutorials like that.
