    Default arduino on pci serial card

    i got an arduino serial but it wont work on usb to serial

    will it work on pci to serial card ( internal)

    IT should work , Is it one with Max232 or the transistor based RS232 ( these are bad ).

    Also is it arduino NG ?

    Press reset when you are uploading the sketch. Maybe the DTR or RTS line is not working and is IDE cannot reset the Boards.

    Is this working ?

    i bought a pci card and it worked

    but for few uploads.

    Then i tried to upload lcd program and it didnt work then

    then i didnt see what the problem is

    then i disconnected all the male jumpers and replace with female headers

    now i n morning its not working and giving following error

    avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00
    avrdude: stk500_disable(): protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0x51

    its on every serial port the same . Red led blink when going through tools menu and uploading but then error comes

    avrdude cannot access the bootloader.

    Something is wrong , check if the serial connection is working fine by echoing in HT.
