    Default Using Ultrasonic Rx/Tx Pair

    Hello,

I need some help regarding the sensors like these

    http://www.hobbyengineering.com/H1324.html

The datasheet does not has anything related to electrical/electronic part. So if any one have used such modules then please help. Or if you can point to some circits using such modules.

The problem is that I wanna know what signal is available at the output of Rx and which PIN has what function. If the signal type digital on/off or analogue or does it requires some amplifier.

    PLEASE HELP!

    Default Ultrasonic sensors

    Hello Avinash,

A very good link for reference is http://hobby_elec.piclist.com/e_srm1.htm. Everything is very well explained over here.

About the terminals, on the sensors that i have used, the pin having black rubber layer is output while the other one goes to GND.

About the output, its analog and requires amplification, 2 stage or even3 stage. While working with these sensors, CRO/DSO is an essential tool!

Moreover the above stated link will clear all your doubts.

    Thanks!

    Siddharth
